PJ Lacy
Sir Robert Dudley, The 1st Earl of Leicester
Master of Horse
& Sir Walter Raleigh
Ambitious, arrogant, self-entitled, quick-tempered and controversial. He's a trusted friend to Her Majesty, and may be more than that. It is feared by his enemies that he abuses this special relationship to further his political aims.
His reputation is clouded by the fact that both his father and Grandfather were executed for treason and that his wife died under (some say) suspicious circumstances.
He is a treacherous enemy, yet a loyal and generous friend to those loyal to him. His interests are many and varied; he's an enthusiastic patron of the arts and sciences and a champion of the religious reformers.
Rydell Downward
Lady Elizabeth Talbot, Countess of Shrewsbury

Therese Porter
Lady Anne Dudley, Countess of Warwick
Lady of the Bedchamber
Lady Anne has been in the service of the Queen since she came to court at the age of 16 as a Maid of Honor. Is considered to be one of the Queen's best friends and close companions. The Earl of Leicester arranged her marriage to his brother, the Earl of Warwick, so that the Dudleys would have someone sympathetic to their cause close to the Queen. Although the Earl is several years her senior, the marriage is a happy, although childless, union. Lady Anne is the Earl's second wife. Lady Warwick is passionate about her loyalty to the Queen, therefore, she does not gossip, discuss politics or discuss religion. She is polite and good natured to everyone regardless of political affiliation and lends money to anyone in need. Riding and dancing are her two favorite forms of exercise.

Wife of Henry Carey, 1st cousin to Elizabeth. They have 7 living children - George, John, Edmund, Robert, Catherine, Margaret, and Philadelphia. Wants to marry her children well. Enjoys embroidery, gossip, elderflower liquer and archery. Has a full purse with which to bribe folks, grant vails, go shopping, etc. Loves to dance and sing as there isn't much else to do at Berwick, on the Scottish borders.
Sharon Collier
Lady Mary Stafford, Baroness Stafford
Lady Mary Stafford is one of 11 siblings. Born Lady Mary Stanley, daughter of the 3rd Earl of Derby, she was raised at Lathom House in Lancashire. She's extremely well educated, proud of her family heritage, fiercely loyal to Queen and Country and a conformist Catholic. While loyal to her family, loyalty to the crown comes first. She dislikes extremes of all kinds and enjoys music, dance, wordplay and the outdoors.
Her father kept a royal styled household so the rules of court have never daunted her. She and her husband are often selling property (and later buying it back) as they consider it an obligation to live in a noble style even if they cannot truly afford it. He participates in all the lists; they have their own group of musicians and their own players as well. Baron Stafford indulges his wife with gifts at the slightest suggestion and they are genuinely fond of one another.

Dorothy, Lady Stafford
Daughter of Henry Baron Stafford, widowed and mother of five children, Lady Stafford has served as one of Queen Elizabeth's ladies-in-waiting since the beginning of her reign, and is now Her Grace's Mistress of Robes.
Shelley Monson
Lady Anne Fienes, Baroness D'Acre
Character Description required.
Kevan Kidd
Mistress Elizabeth Stafford
& Lady Arabella Stuart
& Baroness Strange
Character Description required.
Amy Liebert
Mistress Mary Radcliffe
Maid of Honour
As a Maid of Honour, she came at Court in an unusual manner. Her father jokingly presented Mary as a gift to the Queen on New Year´s Day, 1561. A good laugh was had by all, and the queen accepted Mary in service.
Her sense of humor and frivolity, together with a high sense of honor and unshaken fidelity, she could not fail to win esteem. Smart repartee and rebuff are often received by the men who try to turn the head and the heart of Mary Radcliffe. Though she is nearly always ready for a dance or good conversation, her heart belongs to her Queen.
She is niece to the second Earl of Sussex and cousin to the service.
Janice Gutshall
Anne Knollys, Mistress Knollys
Maid of Honour
Anne is the younger sister of Lettice Knollys ("the good sister", a title she shares with all their sisters), and cousin to Her Grace.
Being young, she is romantic to a fault, yet she is also a bit of a pessimist, and particularly given to bouts of melancholy. A talented singer, her favorite thing in all the world is music. Her greatest ambition in life is, naturally, to marry well -- and she would prefer to be able to love her husband at some point, but that seems to her a difficult thing to ever achieve. (High hopes, low expectations.)
Chloe Hollingsworth
Francis Drake
Character Description required.
Silas Robertshaw
Margaret, Lady Sadler
Character Description required.
Noelle Young
Mistress Elizabeth Payne
Gentlewoman to Lady Hunsdon
Mistress Jane Bede
Fool
Jane is a fool, not a jester. She was brought to court by Anne Boleyn, became Mary's fool after Anne's death, and Elizabeth's after Mary's death. Jane and her poppet, Dot, are very faithful to Her Majesty always wishing to be by her side. They entertain the court with stories, rhymes and general natural silliness.
Ruth McCormick
Mistress Ellyn Whyte
Musician
Mistress Ellyn is the daughter of composer Christopher Tye. Her husband, Robert Whyte, choirmaster at Ely Cathedral, recently died of the Plague. She is worried that her daughter, Mistress Mary White has not yet found a husband.
Elvyn Blair
Master Charles Mortimer
Musician

Charles Henderson
Edward Wetherby
